Nikon 400mm f2.8 AF-I  lens

Nikon 400mm f2.8 AF-I  lens. I am a profession wildlife photographer and have had this lens for at least a dozen years and it has always severed me well. It has always been kept in it's case when not in use and comes from a smoke free home.It is heavy and is best used with a Wimberly head, which I can make available in a separate transaction.It is tack sharp wide open and would compliment the newer d500 for the extra reach. I used  it mostly with my D3s.  I have used it with a 1.4 tce ll with fantastic results. Inspection of the front element does not show any scratches or rub makes - it is pristine.Inspection of the rear, ditto.  Looking through the lens wide open i do not see any dust or fungus. There is no oil on the blades. the body shows signs of wear, as can be expected for it's age. the ser. no is 200505, which indicates it was manufactured about 1995.There were less than 1500 made over the 5 year production span.The lens comes with the case, which also shows it's wear, case strap and the keys!
